Two days of inspiring conferences and discussions on the main challenges the sector is currently facing, with Enrico Letta’s keynote on the future of the single market as the highlight.
Fostering collaboration and innovation
During the event, WEALINS proved that its culture of collaboration and expertise sharing to build a human-centered and sustainable future together was much more than just a leitmotiv.
“Our Wealth Insurance Forum has become an annual event for our European partners, providing an excellent opportunity to discuss our current and future challenges, to reflect on new development perspectives and to find solutions together that will enable us to continue to move forward and act in a collaborative manner in a fast-changing environment”,
explains Maël Toledano, Sales Director at WEALINS S.A.
The Forum provided an opportunity to explore a number of key issues, particularly relating to wealth management and structuring. The audience was given an overview of the advantages of the capitalisation contract and life insurance contract for Luxembourg legal entities looking for optimised and protected cash management over the long term.
The discussion on innovation gave an informed view of the sector’s future and encouraged reflection and discussions on the advantages and limits of artificial intelligence, as well as the place of humans in digital tools. The conferences continued with a presentation on complex investments and a spotlight on the support and expertise of the WEALINS teams, particularly in Private Equity. A panel on the importance of ESG education in the insurance sector showed that the finance and insurance sectors have a key role to play in our economy to empower the climate transition. The opportunity to point out that sustainable finance has become a political priority for many stakeholders, who can be involved in the change if they develop a clear understanding of sustainability and are able to pass it on to clients to facilitate their investment choices. The Forum ended with the keynote of Enrico Letta, a leading European political figure and former Prime Minister of Italy. He shared with the 200 European partners his optimistic and realistic vision of the future of the European Union and of the single market.
Supporting and anticipating the future
“Through our second edition of the Wealth Insurance Forum, we sought to inspire and be as close as possible to the wealth aspirations of our partners and their clients. Our priority at WEALINS remains the support and excellence we provide them. To do this, we must anticipate the expectations of tomorrow, an approach which requires a long-term vision and a constant innovation capacity. We are operating in a world that is progressing very quickly (between regulatory pressures, increased digitalisation) and to which we, wealth insurance and wealth management players, must adapt by demonstrating reactivity, flexibility and resilience,”
concludes Luc Rasschaert, CEO of WEALINS S.A.
